A recent inspection from Care Quality Commission at Aria Court care home in March achieved an overall ‘Good’ rating on the 24th August which is testimony to the great care that residents receive and reassures families that loves ones are in good hands.
General Manager, Lorna Smith took position at the March care home 20th March 2017 where she put to work over 30 years nursing and management experience, making residents the heart of daily life. As a firm believer in resident’s choice and their rights as an individual, her aim is to promote this within the care team; valuing the independence and the self- worth of each resident with a firm belief that everyone, both young and old still have a role to play in the wider society.
Lorna said “I am delighted and very proud of the outcome and to receive a Good CQC rating for Aria Court. This is testimony to the hard work, passion and commitment of every individual team member.”
Aria Court is a part of Athena Care Home (UK) Limited and are a small family run business with award winning care homes Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
