One of the King’s Lynn better known care homes, Goodwins Hall helps to realise one of its residents dreams yesterday.
Joan Phillips who celebrated her 99th birthday this month and became our very own superwoman, proving that age is no barrier by going indoor skydiving at iFly in Milton Keynes. Immediately after her flight, Joan was literally on cloud nine and later on said “It was wonderful, awesome and I just wanted to go higher and higher. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all again. I feel so fit and it feels as if I’ve had a long holiday.”
General Manager, Joan Agcaoili who took Joan to Milton Keynes said that “Joan is an incredible woman and a great example to us all. She has such a positive attitude towards life and we wanted to help make her dream come true”.
