Team members from Aria Court Care Home, delivered 99 Christmas gifts in time for the Big Day, to the Winter Comfort for the Homeless charity in Cambridge on Monday 23rd December.
For the past six weeks, the March based care home has been arranging collection by of donations which included ‘useful’ items that could be packed into individual shoes boxes by way of donations. Boxes were filled and wrapped for both men and women.
The centre, which is open year round supports individuals sleeping rough, staying in a local night shelter, living in temporary accommodation or vulnerably housed.
“People are at the heart of everything we do and we wanted to extend the Christmas Spirit by offering a Christmas gift to others who may not otherwise receive one. I am delighted at the generosity of our staff and family members who have all made contributions to these gifts.” said Lynda Tickell, General Manager Aria Court care Home.
