This #TeamTuesday, let us introduce our lovely manager of Ashlynn Grange care home, Christina Hartles.
Home Manager of Ashlynn Grange, Christina joined Athena in 2018. Following a strong 20-year career working for some of the UK’s most notable care groups, we’re delighted to have Christina!
A nurse by profession, Christina is passionate about caring for those with dementia. Committed to her studies, she holds qualifications in Dementia Mapping, Advanced Dementia Care and Business Management; she also has experience with end of life care and physical disabilities too.
Christina’s ethos is to live life to its fullest every single day. Always remembering to smile and be grateful for what you have is her secret. Caring is simply in Christina’s nature, “A smile from our residents always makes your day and knowing that we have made that smile on their face really makes me happy and it always lifts my mood.”
Christina will always get her team motivated, “I am passionate about enhancing the lives of our residents by putting their health and happiness at the heart of everything we do. Making sure that we have the best skills and qualities from our staff by training, supporting, developing and motivating them to achieving their potential. We all work together as a TEAM at Ashlynn Grange.”
Christina’s vision for Ashlynn Grange is to be the best care home offering elderly & dementia care in Peterborough. She aims to achieve this by putting quality, care, support and hospitality first in everything we do for our residents.
When Christina gets a moment to relax, she spends time in nature walking her dog. She also loves going for runs and bike rides, as well as getting musical by playing guitar and piano. She really is a multi-talented lady!As well as being in a happy marriagem, she enjoys supporting local charity groups. She has previously raised money for Garden House Hospice by doing a starlight Walk.
