Avocet Court, our care home in Ipswich, were greeted by an exciting email recently. They received a notification that their nomination for “Team of the Year” at the Suffolk Care Awards had been progressed and they had reached the finals!
Unfortunately, the Suffolk Care Awards had to quickly reschedule their physical event to an online alternative, but the team had a fantastic time celebrating their achievements nonetheless! The good news continued this week, with the early introduction of the National Living Wage across all of the Athena Care Homes and the AFTAs – Athena’s new staff awards taking place too!
