Athena Care Homes are delighted to introduce our new tree planting scheme. We have pledged to plant 5 trees for each new resident who moves into our homes!
While our company has been focused on sustainability for some time; having implemented energy efficiency measures, microgeneration from solar panels, composting, growing initiatives and much more, we wanted to take this further.
Managing Director, Mala Agarwal, explained, “We want our company to have a lasting legacy, not just through great quality of care and improved quality of life we can offer our residents, but by also reducing our impact on our planet. That’s why we’ve partnered with Ecologi to plant 5 trees for every resident who moves in to our homes.”

The Athena Forest will utilise Ecologi’s expertise to help reforest the UK, Madagascar, Nicaragua, Mozambique and many other destinations around the world.
