Recently Mav Feast, our Home Manager at Aria Court Care Home in March, Cambs, popped over to to the Wisbech Campus of the College of West Anglia.
Mav had been invited to speak to the college’s Health and Social Care students about his career journey through the care industry, the different roles he’s worked in and the potential development for all team members within the sector.
Charlotte Rose, Work Place Coordinator at the CWA, said, “What was wonderful was the depth of knowledge Mav had to offer our students within a variety of roles and careers. Mav showcased the company excellently, discussing the working environment, the dedication of all staff and the level of care they provide.”
The students had fantastic feedback and were surprised at the opportunities for progression and the wide variety of roles available at Athena Care Homes, with one saying, “I can’t believe that a company can offer so much in terms of development… I feel like I could really do well in a job like that!”
