We’re delighted to be able to offer a free session to the Kings Lynn community on Falls Prevention. This will take place at Goodwins Hall Care Home at 10.30am on Monday 15th May.
We know falls are a common concern for our loved ones they can really affect a person’s confidence, impact on their mental health and quality of life, and prevent a person from living independently.
This free session will give you a more detailed understanding of the impact and consequences of a fall, the risks and hazards that could result in a fall, and how to prevent or reduce the risk of falls.
Sarah Parker, Project Officer, from Care & Repair will also offer more information about how their organisation can provide adaptations, repairs and equipment to support independent living.
Care and Repair is the local Home Improvement Agency (HIA) for King’s Lynn, West Norfolk and Fenland and they work to make sure residents’ homes continue to meet their changing needs.
