Avocet Court Recognised for Innovation and Sustainability
On 18 September 2025, the team at Avocet Court Care Home, part of Athena Care Homes, proudly attended the Care Development East Suffolk Care Awards at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, Ipswich. Represented by 22 dedicated team members, the home was shortlisted in two prestigious categories: Team of the Year and Innovation and Sustainability.
Avocet Court was honoured as the winner in the Innovation and Sustainability 2025 category, highlighting their exceptional commitment to environmental responsibility within the care sector. The award recognises organisations that proactively address environmental challenges, reduce pollution, conserve resources, and implement sustainable solutions in their care settings.
