A wonderful summer celebration
Aria Court was filled with sunshine, smiles and community spirit as residents, families, friends, stallholders and team members came together for a fantastic Summer Fayre. With plenty of sunshine and a gentle breeze, the weather created the perfect setting for an afternoon of music, food, fundraising and fun.
The day had a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the very beginning, with around seven stalls for visitors to browse, including Pat’s Pickles, a cake stall, March Museum, March Veterans and the Tote Bag Lady. Residents and guests enjoyed looking around the stalls, chatting with exhibitors and spending time together in the sunshine.
Music, food and plenty of smiles
Guests were treated to fantastic entertainment from The Singing Gardener, whose music helped create a brilliant atmosphere throughout the afternoon. The performance brought everyone together and added to the joyful feel of the event.
Food was also a real highlight of the day, with many guests commenting that the buffet helped make the event so special. A huge thank you goes to Simon and the fantastic kitchen team for preparing such a delicious spread for everyone to enjoy.
Fundraising for a local cause
There was also a lovely fundraising achievement on the day, with Marion from Aria Courts very own Happy Potters raising £80 so far through sales, supported by the Happy Potters group. The money will be donated to Calvary School’s Little Seedlings Club, helping to support a meaningful local initiative.

Lovely feedback from the community
Following the event, Aria Court received some wonderful feedback. On behalf of March and District Museum, one reviewer shared: “We were delighted to share Aria Court’s Summer Fayre. The staff put in a lot of effort to make the day enjoyable for residents and visitors alike, putting on food and drink as well as entertainment.”
Helen Clarke, who attended as a stallholder, also described the fayre as “a lovely day,” adding that staff were welcoming and helpful, residents appeared to have a good day enjoying the music and stalls, and “the food was really good and everybody was included.”
Looking ahead to the next event
After such a successful afternoon, the Aria Court team are already looking forward to their next event: the Summer Generations Games on Tuesday 25th, which will include a very special visit from some alpacas.
