The team at Goodwins Hall in Kings Lynn, recently took on a taste-testing with a twist! The team decided to tackle culinary oddities as part of a bush tucker trial to raise funds for the Care Workers Charity.
To start the team eased themselves in gently with Pilchards in Tapioca cooked in a stock cube, followed by Tongue and Tripe in a white sauce with a bed of salad leaves (the white sauce was bread sauce made with water) and to round our the meal they enjoyed a bread pudding of sorts. The dessert was bread infused with tea and onion juice, with cheese and chocolate mousse decorated with fruit, vegetables and sausages. No meal is complete without a drink though and the team enjoyed a sausage, mustard and oat milk smoothie!
The team did a great job tackling their challenge and have so far raised over £300 for the Care Workers Charity. You can keep track of their fundraising progress or support them here.
