Our homes boast a daily programme of activities that provide a variety of entertainment for our residents that help aid their mind, body and soul. Activities can include but aren’t limited to social clubs, baking and cooking, performance entertainers, arts & crafts and light exercise. We understand that everyone has different abilities, so our teams tailor activities that involve everyone, whilst being mindful of their specific needs. One to one activities are on offer too, and we also schedule regular visits, calls or video chats for friends and relatives that are far away.

Our catering team is run by highly-trained chefs who create delicious, innovative cuisine to suit each resident. They work with our care team to ensure our menus cater for all tastes, so when a resident moves into one of our homes you can be sure they will receive healthy, nutritious meals – as well as plenty of treats. Finding the perfect balance between nutrition and the enjoyment of food is a vital part of our care provision, and our chefs go the extra mile to create exciting, experimental dishes as well as old favourites.

Each of our care homes has a home manager, Hospitality Services Manager and designated Clinical Care Leaders. These key members work together to keep the home in check and running smoothly.

General Manager

Joining us in June 2020, Jenny brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to lead our loyal Amberley Hall Care Home team. Jenny has always had a passion for Nursing and Care and started her career over fourty years ago in general nursing at Stoke Mandeville hospital, Buckinghamshire. Following ten years with the NHS, Jenny moved into the Social Care sector and has spent the last twenty years of her career dedicated to working within Care Homes. An accomplished and talented manager, she is known for her progressive and innovative approach and has enjoyed success leading homes to achieve “Good” CQC inspection reports. With our Athena values true to her heart, Jenny says: “Feelings are what matter the most. It’s the compassion to care, that ensures our residents will always be at the heart of all that we do”. “I am very much looking forward to the exciting new chapter in my life and to realise my vision to lead Amberley Hall and the team on a continued path to excellence”.

24 hour care, most activities, all meals and non-alcoholic drinks are all included in your fee.

There’s a cost for:

  • Toiletries
  • Beauty treatments like massages, nails and hair dressing.
  • Some outings.
  • Some alcoholic drinks.
  • Subscriptions for papers, magazines, premium TV channels and phone lines
