Rehabilitation care allows those who have undergone surgery to be cared for whilst recovering. This could be a knee or hip replacement, or something more complex. If staying at one of our rehabilitation care homes and receiving this type of care, the stay usually lasts only a couple of weeks until you have recovered enough to be able to look after yourself once again.

We provide short term rehab for elderly people who are recovering from surgeries at Avocet Court. Residents admitted to this elderly rehab facility usually stay for around two weeks. During this time, they have regular access to physiotherapy and occupational health. The aim is for residents to achieve goals, enabling them to return to their own home as independently as possible. We have many different types of equipment that will help your loved one to recover. Being in a rehab nursing home also means that they will not need to worry about making meals or household chores. Our rehabilitation care homes for elderly people mean that they can recover in peace. GPs, hospitals, social workers and community matrons usually make referrals to our rehabilitation care home services.

I think the home is outstanding, staff are friendly and helpful, food is what you would expect from a restaurant. It is always clean and management are very approachable and go out of their way to help or find a way to make things work

Overall very well cared for, all carers did very well in their care for me. No problems with anything at all. If the need arose for any reason I will consider coming to Aria Court again. Laughter is what I did enjoy most and was a good part of my recovery care, it was good and therapeutic

I was so worried about not being able to come into the home to see mum but she is clearly always happy and smiling. The staff have always let me know how mum is doing, without me having to ask. Pictures are online and no time is too much of a problem to ring and speak to mum. I don’t know how these staff keep so cheerful and I don’t know what I’d have done without them.
