Back in January our King’s Lynn Care Homes signed a sponsorship deal with Alive King’s Lynn Community Football to support the creation of a school girls football league in the town.
The league has been a roaring success since it’s inauguration and it’s something our football mad residents have been following very closely. It was recently made even better as we welcomed the team from St Martha’s to Amberley Hall for a kick about!
The girls joined our residents in the Cinema Room and we took on a variety of ball related games and challenges. We ended with an extremely competitive game of bowling, where our resident Eileen took home the spoils!
Amberley’s General Manager, Ula Jakoniuk, said, “It was brilliant to welcome the girls to our home today. They brought laughter, energy and most importantly smiles to our residents faces. They also brought out quite the competitive streak in our residents. We’d be delighted to build our relationship with St Martha’s and we’d welcome them back any time.”
A huge thank you to Alive King’s Lynn Community Football and all of the girls from St Martha’s – our residents really enjoyed the time spent together. Check out the highlights reel below!
