Making every moment matter is as important to us as the standard of care we deliver at Ashlynn Grange. As one of the leading nursing homes, Peterborough, our residents’ needs are at the heart of everything we do. When a new resident joins us, we invest time in understanding their life story, as well as learning about their hobbies and the important people in their lives. This information enables us to encourage our residents to live life to the fullest, with laughter and love.
Residents are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms by bringing furniture from home. Our dedicated maintenance team is on hand to hang pictures and photographs to recreate the comfort of a ‘home from home’.
Regular feedback forums enable residents and their families to suggest new experiences, outings and events. This means that our activities programme is varied, engaging, and truly reflects the choices and interests of our residents.
Ashlynn Grange is one of the leading residential, respite, nursing, palliative, and dementia care homes, Peterborough. It is important that our activities programmes promote inclusivity and are continuously adapted and reviewed for the changing needs of our residents. You can view an example activity calendar here.
We continuously seek out creative ways to meet the physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs of our residents, including some of them appearing in our brochure! Our regular activities include gardening, exercise classes, quizzes, and church services. We also use our associations with local schools and nurseries, churches, and businesses to enhance our residents’ experience. We know how to throw a good party – the residents and team can often be found, dancing and singing along to live entertainment in our lovely gardens!
