To celebrate this year’s Earth Day, the team at Goodwins Hall Care Home showcased their sustainability credentials and created a locally sourced and sustainably packaged lunch for all of their residents.
Starting with their choice of sandwiches with amazing Norfolk produce; gammon ham and egg mayo proved very popular choices, as did our Norfolk Goats cheese tartlets and gravadlax.
Sandwiches were followed by a sweet caramel mousse made from sugar derived from Norfolk sugar beet!
To round off the meal, it was all served in a compostable box!
