Towards the end of May our homes took on a variety of challenges to get all of our homes and residents up and about as part of NAPA’s fantastic yearly Well-being Walks. The aim of the walks is to champion wellness and help improve physical, psychological and social well-being, and of course, raising funds for NAPA so the charity can continue their amazing work supporting our industry.
Around the homes
The Amberley Hall took on a walk to Lynnsport (to enjoy a couple of drinks) and back to the home. While, Goodwins Hall residents head around The Walks in Kings Lynn.
Ashlynn Grange headed out and about in their local area, taking one community at a time so as many residents and loved ones as possible could join in!
While Avocet Court made the most of the sunshine and went for a stroll around Bourne Park and Aria Court residents braved the drizzle and headed out on a fantastic group walk to the local parks, followed by some cake and a cuppa when they returned!
The 250 mile challenge for our Central Team
The Central Support Team meanwhile, took on a collective walk equivalent to the 250 odd miles from our head office in Essex to all of our homes and back to the office. We absolutely smashed our total and walked 431 miles over our two weeks of counting!
