Lionel from the Linnets has been a busy bird recently, visiting local King’s Lynn care homes Goodwins Hall and Amberley Hall!
Our residents were lucky enough to have a surprise visit from Lionel, which was a surprise as many of our residents are big Linnets fans!
With a recent trip to the last Linnets game of the league with residents from Amberley Hall Care Home, we engage with the local community as much as possible here at Athena Care Homes, and anything to do with the local football club is always a big hit!
Outside of the visit from Lionel, Amberley Hall also recently signed a sponsorship deal with Alive King’s Lynn Community Football to support the creation of a school girls football league in the town, and even welcomed the local school St Martha’s girls football team into the home for a kick about, so you could say we’re football-mad, which is perfect celebration of the ongoing Women’s World Cup!
