We’re really excited to announce that Amberley Hall will be hosting Singing for the Brain sessions!
Singing for the Brain is an initiative from the Alzheimer’s Society to bring together local people affected by dementia. We’ll sing a variety of songs during the session, all of which our visitors will know and love, in a fun and friendly environment. We’ll also do vocal exercises that help improve brain activity and wellbeing.
Our new weekly sessions are designed to utilise socialising as a way to stimulate the mind and lift spirits.
Kerri Rasberry, Customer Relationship Advisor at Amberley Hall, said, “I’m delighted to be able to support the launch of this unique activity for those within our community living with dementia and their loved ones.”
The sessions start at 10.00am on Fridays and run until midday at Amberley Hall Care Home in Kings Lynn. If you don’t want to attend for the whole session, that’s absolutely no problem! There’s no need to book and there’s no charge for the session.
If you have any questions about the session, please don’t hesitate to call us directly on 01553 603235 and ask for Kerri Rasberry.
