The team at Aria Court Care Home in March, are celebrating after being awarded a perfect 5 star score in their latest EHO inspection.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) five-star rating is awarded to businesses after consideration of three key criteria – how hygienically food is handled, the physical condition of the business and how the business manages food safety. There’s a specific focus on areas including cleanliness, layout, lighting, ventilation and pest control; as well as looking at processes, training and systems to ensure good hygiene is maintained.
The five-star food hygiene rating is the highest accolade achievable and reflects the attention to detail within our catering teams. Mav Feast, Home Manager at Aria Court, said, “Aria’s Kitchen team has undergone a journey of excellence over the last few years, have seen success at the Great British Care Awards and receiving numerous other accolades. The kitchen team has developed evidence based progression based around the needs of everyone in our care, a 5 star EHO is just the cherry on top of the Aria cup cake.”
