Join us this February for a grand masquerade ball at Goodwins Hall Care Home.
We are hosting the ball in aid of Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Dementia Care Appeal, and we are inviting family, friends and others linked to the home to join us.
The masquerade ball is just one of a number of events planned for the home, in Goodwins Road, Kings Lynn, this year, allowing residents to enjoy a glam evening with loved ones.
Tickets for the event cost £10 per person and include a buffet dinner plus live music.
The event takes place on Saturday, 11th February and runs from 6pm to 8pm. The dress code is glam – with masquerade-style masks encouraged.
Kerri Rasberry, Customer Relationship Manager, said: “The ball is being held in aid of a very special charity, one close to all of our hearts.
“We are honoured to be able to support the charity and also to be able to give residents an opportunity to dust off their finery and enjoy a night of food, music and dancing with their loved ones.
“This is a chance to make some extra special memories together.”
Goodwins Hall is part of award-winning Athena Care Homes and offers residential care home for those needing additional support. The home has a first-class range of services including a salon, spa bath, multiple restaurants, and a café area.
The Dementia Care Appeal sets out to raise £40,000 to purchase equipment and activities to improve the experience of patients living with dementia.
The trust hopes to raise enough funds to upgrade its Reminiscence Interactive Therapy and Activities (RITA) devices and purchase new systems. The devices enable staff and volunteers to engage patients in activities to make them feel more at ease during their hospital stay.
