We are throwing open our doors and inviting the community in to share what we do here at Athena Care Homes as we mark Care Home Open Week.
The national event, which runs from Monday, 26th June to Monday, 3rd July, to showcase the amazing features of our homes
Here’s what we have planned across the group:
Join us for our Summer Fun Day. We’ll have a jam packed day starting at 10.00am.
Between 10.30am and 12.30pm we’ll be welcoming Alpacas! Before Lucy West joins us for live entertainment between 1.00pm and 2.00pm.
Plus, we’ll have stalls for crafting, wax melts, books, glitter and our residents, as well as games and refreshments.
This is an amazing opportunity to discover all that Amberley Hall has to offer!
Everyone is welcome as we host our summer fete with tombola, raffle, cakes, a barbecue and live music, plus we have a small petting farm with animals for you to meet.
We are opening our doors between 1.00pm and 4.00pm.
Join us throughout the week and get to know our amazing new residential community – Milton Lodge.
With our refurbishment completing a couple of months ago, all of our rooms have flashes of Art Deco styling and our fantastic new activities team offer something for all of our residents!

Join us from 2.00pm to 4.00pm for a Hawaiian-themed Splash Day. We’ll have fun in the sun for this family fun afternoon with a DJ, garden games, bubble wands and delicious food.
Meet our residents, see our Lifestyles team in action and enjoy live entertainment on the day!
Join us from 2.00pm onwards for our annual Summer Fayre with a bbq, live entertainment, local stall holders, crafts, activities, games for children, a raffle and a tombola.
Our Learning and Development Manager, Lucy, will also be raising money for the Care Workers Charity with her pie-themed fun!
