Well, what a party we had on Saturday! The atmosphere was buzzing, the music was playing, and the dance floor was grooving at Amberley Hall Care Home’s open day and disco in Kings Lynn. From disco balls to funky outfits, it was a blast from the past as we celebrated the vibrant 70s and 80s era in style.
The highlight of the open day was undoubtedly the arrival of our special pet therapy guests, the beautiful Daisy and the handsome Teddy. These furry friends always bring a little joy with them and we were delighted they could join us for the festivities.
The disco in the evening was a hit with residents, who enjoyed a night of nostalgia with familiar tunes from the 70s and 80s. In fact, the residents enjoyed themselves so much that they’ve already requested another disco soon.
A massive thank you to Kerri for bringing the spirit of the 70s and 80s alive with her fantastic decorations and music selection.
Staff and residents alike embraced the colourful spirit of the 70s with their funky outfits, while even our visiting therapy pony got in on the action with flowers adorning her flowing mane. Peace, love, and lots of colour were the order of the day as we welcomed friends, family, and the local community to join us. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us.
