Are you over 65 and looking for a delightful way to spend an afternoon? Look no further! Avocet Court Care Home in Ipswich is excited to announce the launch of our latest venture aimed at building new links with our neighbours and the local community – the Avocet Over 65s Lunch Club.
Starting on Wednesday, March 6th, and continuing every first Wednesday of the month thereafter, we’re opening our doors to the local community for a special treat.
Led by our talented Head Chef, Kelvin, our lunch club promises a delicious home-cooked roast lunch and a scrumptious dessert so get ready to indulge your taste buds.
But Avocet Over 65s Lunch Club is about more than just food—it’s about fostering connections and companionship. We understand that sometimes it can be tough if you find yourself alone, which is why we’re extending a warm invitation to all those who may be seeking some friendly faces and a welcoming environment.
Kelvin encourages everyone, saying, “Don’t stay cooped up at home—come join us for lunch, laughs, and maybe even make some new friends along the way.”
And here’s the best part: lunch is on us. We’re offering a free meal to all our guests, as a gesture of support to those who may be feeling the pinch of living expenses or simply seeking a bit of joy in their week.
Spaces for our lunch club are limited, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early. Arrive from 1pm onwards, and let us treat you to a delightful afternoon of good food, company and laughter.
