The Ashlynn Grange care home fundraising ball was an event to remember, filled with joy, music, and generosity that residents are sure to be talking about fondly for some time.
Hosted with the purpose of dressing up and having a great time while also supporting the WestRaven Community Café and Garden, this spectacular event showcased the strong sense of togetherness within the Athena Care Homes family.
Home Manager Renju Varghese expressed her gratitude, saying, “The event was a great success, and I want to thank everyone who took part, even in the smallest way. A big thank you to all our team members who went above and beyond to make this event happen.”
She further acknowledged the collaborative efforts that made the evening possible, adding, “We want to thank everyone who was involved in making this event such a success. It was a real team effort, from those who prepared the delicious food to the volunteers who set up and tidied up afterward. This event couldn’t have been done without the dedication and support of so many.”
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the event was a testament to the strong bonds within the Athena Care Homes family and their unwavering commitment to charitable causes.
The event featured enchanting performances by the incredibly talented Gabriella Pineda-Rodrigues, Malcolm, and Matt Brown, adding to the magic of the night. Their performances left guests captivated and created unforgettable memories for everyone in attendance.
A special thank you goes out to the catering team for preparing the exquisite food and cakes that delighted all who attended. The event was further enhanced by the contributions of the residents’ families, who helped decorate and create a stunning ambiance for the evening.
Most importantly, the charity ball successfully raised almost £100 for the WestRaven Community Café and Garden, a vital organisation dedicated to supporting residents in Peterborough. The café and garden address key social issues, including health and wellbeing, employability, and youth programmes. Through their work, they tackle social isolation and environmental concerns while fostering a sense of belonging within the community. Their dedicated team of community workers and volunteers collaborates with various partners to create sustainable programs that promote better health and wellbeing for the people of WestRaven and the broader Peterborough area.
Their mission is to provide a lasting positive impact on the community, and the funds raised from the Ashlynn Grange Fundraising Ball will contribute to their valuable work.
