Jackie Wicks, Regional Clinical Manager at Aria Court Care Home in March, recently took part in the Arthur Rank Shine Walk on Saturday, 22nd June – raising an impressive £350 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
The cause is particularly close to Jackie’s heart, following the recent loss of someone very dear to her who received exceptional care from the Arthur Rank staff.
“Taking part in the walk was a personal way to give back and honour the incredible support they provided to my loved one,” said Jackie.
In addition to her professional commitments, Jackie is also a dedicated Community First Responder and an active supporter of the Air Ambulance service – giving her time and skills to help those in urgent need. Her commitment to care, both professionally and in the community, is truly inspiring.
The Arthur Rank Hospice is a charity based in Cambridgeshire that provides care and support for individuals living with advanced serious illnesses and those in need of end-of-life care free of charge for all. The Hospice is mostly funded through public donations and is always grateful to those in the community that support it.
