At Athena Care Homes, one of our core values is Creating Moments, meaningful experiences that bring joy, connection, and compassion to the communities around us. This Christmas, the team at Goodwins Hall truly brought this value to life.
During their Christmas party celebrations, the Goodwins Hall team chose to turn a festive occasion into an opportunity to give back. Instead of traditional party gifts, staff kindly donated Christmas presents for Mr Bee’s Nursery, a local family charity dedicated to supporting families in crisis.
The generosity and enthusiasm of the team resulted in a wonderful collection of toys, all gathered during the Christmas party itself. On Monday 22nd December, members of the Goodwins Hall Activities Team visited the Family Centre at St Augustine’s Church in King’s Lynn to personally deliver the gifts.
Knowing that the children will have something special to open, and the smiles that follows, is a truly heart-warming moment. It is a powerful reminder of how small acts of kindness can create lasting memories, not just for those receiving, but for those giving as well.
