Our teams have been working extraordinarily hard over the last few months to reconnect with a variety of groups within our communities.
One thing which everyone’s really missed, has been the opportunity to welcome people from all walks of life into our homes. Likewise, our teams have traditionally visited fayres, spoken to schools and colleges and been prominent at local events. That’s why we’re delighted that we’ve been able to get back out into the community and our first stop was at the City of Peterborough Academy.
Recently, Millie from Aria Court Care Home in March, popped in to speak to some of the Year 10 Health and Social Care Students about a day in the life of a carer. In a fantastic discussion, we covered all areas of life in our home, what a normal day looks like and the ups and downs of the role.
A huge thank you to Millie for popping to see the students and we can’t wait to come back in future!
Our pleasure! Hope the students enjoyed it as much as we did😀#Community #Development #Teamwork #Care #ThisIsCarehttps://t.co/kTEWkEwmf4
