Our homes have been really busy raising much needed funds for the 2022 Comic Relief appeal! So far the grand total is just around £700 from across the homes, which is brilliant. Here’s a quick look at what each home has been up to!
At Aria Court Care Home in March, our team set themselves the hearty challenge of cycling non-stop for 12 hours!
Our team and visitors were extremely committed and managed to keep going the full time and, so far, they’ve raised an incredible grand total of £645 for Comic Relief.
Home Manager, Mavrick Feast said, “We wanted to take on a unique, fun challenge as part of Comic Relief; something which all the team could take part in. It’s no mean feat keeping the bike going for 12 hours and I’m proud of our fantastic team and family members for joining in and being such great sports!”
Meanwhile, over in Kings Lynn, the team at Amberley Hall bravely volunteered themselves as target practice! With members of our senior leadership team, including home manager Jenny, taking turns in the stocks.
There was also a best dressed competition for our residents and team members for a small donation.
Both our residents and team had a brilliant time and you can see some of the highlights in their video.
At Ashlynn Grange in Peterborough, our team all dressed in red for the day and celebrated with lots of red coloured sweet treats for our residents!
