The residents and team at Avocet Court are celebrating after becoming finalists, for the second year running, at the Suffolk Care Awards.
The team were nominated for the ‘Large Team of the Year’ category and were excited to be attending a glitzy, sold out event at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall.
The Suffolk Care Awards are designed as an unforgettable evening full of celebration and joy the county comes together to honour incredible achievements within Health and Social Care sector.
Unfortunately, the team didn’t take home the title, but that doesn’t detract from the fantastic work the whole team at Avocet Court have been delivering. Here’s a brief snapshot of some of the notable highlights from the last month:
– They won the second annual Athena in Bloom gardening competition.
– They’ve launched a trial in partnership with Suffolk County Council for ‘smart bedrooms’.
– They ‘visited’ Estonia for armchair travels, plus much, much more!
