This August our residents of Avocet Court went on their armchair travels once again, this time, jetting all the way across to Estonia!
Our very own Avocet Admin Manager, Monika, gave our residents a unique and informative presentation about the beautiful country of Estonia. Monika worked with our kitchen team top create some authentic Estonian delicacies and she kindly sported traditional dress for her talk.
Estonia is a beautiful country in north eastern Europe, and the capital Tallinn, is known for its famous 314m high Tallinn TV Tower, and we were thrilled to learn more about this interesting country!
We encourage all of our homes with the Athena Care Homes group to participate in Arm Chair Travels every month, as we like to give your residents a glimpse into the unique food, traditions and culture of other countries each month and bring holidays into our homes!
