Ashlynn Grange Care Home hosted a spectacular event that brought fun, laughter, and plenty of singing and dancing to all who attended. The occasion? A charity ball that not only provided an evening of entertainment but also aimed to make a difference in the community.
Families and friends gathered alongside residents to enjoy the event which took place at the Peterborough home but the ball wasn’t just about dressing up and having fun; it was about coming together to support a worthy cause. This year, all proceeds from the event will go to the Little Miracles charity, which does incredible work for children right here in our local area.
The theme of the evening was a masquerade ball and saw guests arriving in elegant masks, ready for an evening of fun.
The kitchen team at Ashlynn Grange had created an exquisite menu for the evening which received many compliments. Attendees were treated to a three-course meal starting with a choice between a trio of fish or a comforting broccoli and Stilton soup. For the main course, options included succulent braised beef or a creamy mushroom risotto, catering to every palate. And to top it all off, a trio of desserts provided a sweet finale.
Perhaps the highlight of the night was the live music provided by talented singer Dean. With his repertoire spanning the decades, he took requests from residents and guests alike, belting out beloved tunes from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. Lots of guests took to the dance floor and everyone sung along with their favourite hits.
As the night drew to a close, there was no doubt that it had been an evening to remember and everyone agreed the Ashlynn Grange Care Home ball had been a resounding success, leaving smiles on faces.
Many thanks go to everyone who attended and to all those who worked hard to organise the event.
