A new dementia café is coming to Amberley Hall Care Home in Kings Lynn this April!
Our new Dementia Cafe will offer activities for those living with dementia and support for their caregivers.
The first meeting takes place on Friday 5th April between 10am and midday. Tea, coffee and freshly-baked cake will be available to all attendees as well as a variety of activities.
We will be joined by local dignitaries as well as, a selection of guest speakers and our team members, while our home’s lifestyles team will provide a range of activities including arts and crafts, games and puzzles for those not attending the talk.
Mari Mourao, Customer Relationship Manager at Amberley Hall Care Home, said: “Living with dementia can be a lonely experience for both the individual living with dementia and for their loved ones. We want to give people the chance to talk to others in a similar position, who understand what they are going through.”
The Amberley Hall Dementia Café will continue every second Friday after the launch on Aprll 5th. On Fridays between the Dementia Cafes, we continue to offer our popular Singing For The Brain sessions.
There is no need to book, just drop in and meet the team for either of these sessions.
