Wow, what a day! The Easter Fun Day at Ashlynn Grange in Peterborough was an absolute triumph, drawing in a mix of familiar faces and newcomers from our local community.
The atmosphere was relaxed and fun as residents, families, friends, and neighbours came together for a day filled with joy and laughter – the sun graced us with its presence for some lovely Spring warmth and allowed the celebration to be based outside in our lovely grounds.
Children and residents enjoyed the egg hunt and our bouncy castle provided endless entertainment. Face painting stations transformed eager participants into different characters and there were refreshments to tantalize the taste buds thanks to the kitchen team at Ashlynn Grange as well as a visit from an ice cream van.
Our new General Manager Donna Smith enjoyed the day. She said, “It was lovely to have so many members of the community join us at Ashlynn Grange for a wonderful day.
“I know our residents had a good time and our thanks to everyone who helped us in making this event a success, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and your presence truly made a difference!”
The Easter Fun Day was all about making connections in the community and having fun, and it definitely delivered on both fronts. It was a day filled with laughter, smiles, and making lots of happy memories together.
