On Friday 21st February, Goodwins Hall Care Home in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, hosted a truly enchanting Beauty & the Beast themed Charity Ball, bringing together residents, families, staff, and members of the local community for a wonderful evening in support of Tapping House Hospice.
The event transformed the home into a magical setting inspired by the beloved fairytale, with elegant decorations, beautiful table settings, and a warm, celebratory atmosphere. Guests enjoyed an evening filled with music, laughter, and community spirit, all while supporting an incredibly meaningful cause
We were honoured to welcome our Deputy Mayor, Steve Bearshaw, who joined residents and guests in celebrating the evening. Members of the Friendship Club were also in attendance, adding to the sense of community that made the night so special.
A highlight of the evening was a stunning live performance by Emily Blake, whose beautiful voice perfectly captured the magical atmosphere of the night and delighted everyone in attendance.
The event would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of the Goodwins Hall team. Staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to plan, decorate, and bring the theme to life, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended.
Their creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm helped turn a wonderful idea into a truly memorable evening.
Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who attended, donated, and helped organise the evening, the event successfully raised £1,000 for Tapping House Hospice.
Tapping House provides vital hospice care and compassionate support for people and families across Norfolk, making this community fundraising effort especially meaningful.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who joined us, supported the event, and helped make the evening such a success. It was a truly beautiful night, filled with kindness, community spirit, and the joy of coming together for a great cause.
